About

Gore Volunteer Fire and Rescue was established in 1950 to provide emergency services to Gore and the surrounding area. We work in conjunction with our neighboring Frederick County Fire and Rescue departments in addition to departments in West Virginia, to provide safe and effective emergency services when called upon, and work closely with the public we serve to ensure that we all live in the safest environment possible.
Our first responders are professionally trained and are ready to deal with a wide range of different types of incidents, such as fires, tactical rescues, motor vehicle accidents, and Emergency Medical Services.
We currently serve our community with a brush truck, an Engine, an Attack, a tanker, 2 ambulances, and a SERV.
